This superb holiday villa is located in the beautiful area of Moledo in an elevated position that gives outstanding uninterrupted views of the ocean. It sits on a 4 storey plot with swimming pool, offering diverse spots for the 8 holidaymakers in the beautiful Minho region of Northern Portugal.
Extremely easy to reach (only 60 minute drive from Porto international airport or from Vigo - Spain - airport and only a 50 minute drive from Porto international airport) this villa is in an absolutely central position: only a couple of kms from the white sandy beach of Moledo. The towns of Vila Praia de Ancora and Caminha are within a 5 minute drive. From the train station you can travel to Vigo in Spain or south to Viana do Castelo historic centre. The old roman town of Caminha (with various restaurants, cafes, bars, lively promenades and open air esplanades around the Minho river's waterfront) and about 30 kms from the delightful old historic town of Viana do Castelo, famous for its ancient monuments and long sandy beaches. Watch the fishermen at the docks of Vila Praia de Ancora come in daily with fresh fresh and seafood. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars, supermarkets, shops in here as well.
Nowadays, Caminha enjoys much more friendly relations with its neighbour and there is a daily ferry-boat linking the two banks of the river. Standing on a tiny island in the middle of the estuary are the ruins of the fort of Ínsua, built to defend the entrance to the river in the fifteenth century. There are other several sandy beaches within a short drive.
The lounge is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploration. Sink into the comfortable sofa and savour a good book with the breathtaking seaviews or enjoy one of the great amenities on offer, including a flat-screen TV and cable channels, and WiFi. The fully-fitted kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up your favourite meals. There is also a food lift so you can easily transport your meals from one floor to the next. Enjoy your feast indoors or alternatively, cook outside on the barbecue and dine under the stars on the furnished terrace.
In addition to these great amenities, the house also features a private swimming pool, a furnished terrace with a table for up to 10 people with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic ocean.

Well kept garden. Large sunbathing terrace with sunbeds and sun umbrellas overlooking the pool and BBQ on the lower level. BBQ excellent for al fresco dining. Covered terrace with ping pong table. Pool shower with toilet. Kitchenette with countertop, hob, sink and fridge, perfect for catering meals outdoors. Private swimming pool. Car parking.
The sands of Moledo extend from the fishing port over to the Âncora river which reaches the coast here after its 15 kilometre descent through the Serra de Arga hills, an attractive natural environment, which features some good walking conditions. This enormous beach experiences some strong Atlantic waves which means high quality surfing.
Extra services are available on request such as Chef for traditional Portuguese cuisine, winetasting courses, masseur, beautician, organisation of guided tours to nearby attractions with stops in typical places and local olive oil and wine tasting, horse riding, golf, water sports, etc.
