Villa 290 - Ponte de Lima
Set within a 210 acre wine estate in the hills within easy reach of the old roman town of Ponte de Lima, we arrive at this beautiful wine producing property. In the centre of the property, boasts two self-catering stone farmhouses which have both been fully renovated in the year 2020.
The perfect balance has been created by the owners, preserving the original features while incorporating 21st century comforts such as air-conditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, large, bright and airy living areas, excellent al fresco dining terrace with barbecue and private swimming pool.
High ceilings, open-plan rooms and breezy furnishings that fit perfectly with exposed stone walls built by locals a couple of hundred years ago, are some of the features of this special place ideal for the larger parties looking for the true nature of the Minho region and the culture that has enchanted guests and visitors every year, especially during the harvest.
Besides these 2 buildings there is an elegant 18th century typical Minho historical house which is still kept as the main building. The guests' accommodation is set in the 2 farmhouses and the main house is occasionally used by the owners. The guests' accommodation is completely independent with privacy.
Farmhouse (Larger building sleeping up to 10 people)
Lower floor: Fully fitted modern open plan kitchen with dining table and doors opening onto a south facing terrace ideal for alfresco meals. Comfortable and tastefully decorated living room with TV. Guest toilet. Upper floor: 3 double bedrooms each with an ensuite shower room. Large family suite with double bed and flight of steps leading to a mezzanine floor with 2 individual beds making the room suitable for 4 people. Private shower room.
Cottage (smaller building sleeping up to 4 people)
Lower floor: Open plan living / dining area with comfortable seating and fully fitted kitchen. Guest toilet. Double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
Upper floor: Double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
Spacious terraces and a widely spread lawn where guests can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and vineyard. Barbecue terrace perfect for al fresco dining.
The private swimming pool is of irregular shape and 12 X 6 metres at the widest points. The depth is from 1.10 to 2 metres. The pool can be heated at the extra cost of 250 Euros per week.
Being a fully functional agricultural / wine estate guests might see workers on the estate who are all aware of the holiday accommodation and respect their privacy.

Rental & Booking Information
Outside July and August is possible to rent the main house only providing accommodation up to 8 people.
Weekly rates are as follows:
Low Season - 1.350 Eur
Mid Season - 1.680 Eur

A 450 Euro refundable breakages deposit will be taken at the time of check-in and returned on departure.
Price includes: Electricity, gas, water, bed linen and towels, final cleaning and taxes.
For stays of 10 nights or more, mid-stay cleaning is included in the price.
Pool heating (if requested) is 250 Euros per week.
