A delightful stone built cottage set on one part of a small farm in Northern Portugal. Recently renovated to high standards, this tastefully decorated house has a lovely atmosphere and is well equipped. The raditional materials that have been used in the renovation ensure that the original style remains delightfully evident. Each of the four bedrooms is privileged to its own ensuite bathroom. Outside, there is a terrace with table and chairs a barbecue and a garden with sitting areas to sunbathe and admire the delightful views. The large swimming pool is surrounded by sunny terraces with mature trees, the perfect
place for dining outdoors.

The surrounding wooded hillside is populated with oak, chestnut and pine trees. Within a 25 minute drive you will find Portugal's National Park - the Peneda Geres - which has spectacular scenery and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Vila Verde town for shops and supermarkets is about 10 kms. away. The ancient Celtic city of Braga with more than 300 churches, is about 20 kilometres distant. There is a
restaurant about 2,000 metres from the house and a minimarket within walking distance. About 4,000 metres away from the house is a river beach. The property owner lives on the estate in a separate cottage. The guests accommodation is completely independent with privacy. The swimming pool will occasionally be shared with the discreet owners.

Accommodation (a two storey house):

Ground floor: Fitted kitchen. Two twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Laundry room (maid's use). Leading off the corridor are two doors opening out to the covered terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining. Steps leading to upper floor.

First floor: The entrance hall opens into the living room with comfortable seating, cards / board games table and satellite TV. Picture glass windows with delightful views over the National Park and surrounding countryside. Doors leading out to covered balcony. Two twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Exterior: Enclosed terrace with barbecue ideal for outdoor dining during summer months. Small garden with delightful views over the countryside. The swimming pool is 10 metres long and 5 metres wide.
