The delightful Portugal cottages are set on one part of a 30 acre farm with riding stables in Northern Portugal. One of the main features of the house is the location and the view over the agricultural fields, oak trees and the Ave river valley. The house is completely private and well equipped providing comfortable accommodation up to 4 people.

The Ave river, with its clear, clean water, is about 10 minutes walk from the property. The village of Vieira do Minho is about 2 kms. away. Europe's last great wilderness, the Peneda-Geres National Park, is about 10 kms. away. There is a restaurant about 700 metres from the house which produces good local food.

Accommodation (a two storey house):

First floor: Twin bedroom with ensuite shower room. Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Both rooms have french windows leading onto the covered balcony with delightful views over the grass field and valley. Living / dining room with comfortable seating, table for 6 people, TV, sofa and salamander-stove. French windows leading onto the covered balcony. Well equipped kitchen opening onto a spacious terrace with a barbecue area, overlooking the swimming pool.

Ground floor: Self contained apartment with kitchenette, dining area and double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Wash room and garage.

Exterior: Private swimming pool (8 metres long and 4 metres wide). The depth is from 0.90 to 2.20 metres. Pool side shower. The views from the terrace and house are outstanding.

If you wish to book the cottage for a maximum of 4 people only, the ground floor self contained apartment will be closed and the weekly rental price deducted by 275 Euros or £215 GBP.
