Entirely built with stone of the region, the Pousada de Manteigas - Sao Lourenço, is located on the top of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, enjoys a magnificent view over the river Zezere Valley. It is the perfect place for peaceful walks, followed by relaxed conversations by the fireplace. Guests can either practise winter sports during the season or have a refreshing swim in the Summer, in the natural lagoons.

The Pousada has 21 Rooms. All the rooms are equipped with central heating , mini-bar, telephone, cable TV, hair drier,bathing gowns, view surroundings.
Pousada History: It was the 4th
Pousada
built in Portugal. It was made by the Architect Rogerio de Azevedo,
using stone of the region, and it was decorated by Maria Keil. The
inauguration it happened in 1948, with only four rooms. To give chance
for all guests to rest in the Pousada, the maximum of nights that
those had available, it was tree. Located on the top of the Serra

Banquets & Other Events: Panoramic restaurant over the Serra da Estrela has capacity for 70 people. It is a great place for weddings and services to take place, having the maximum capacity of 120 people seated. |
