With a unique location in the heart of Peneda/Geres National Park, this Pousada has a breathking view over the river Cavado and the peaceful Canicada dam. These are landscapes to remember, while appreciating a delicious appetizer on the Pousadas terrace, looking down at the beautiful sunset reflected on the water.

The Pousada has been created from an old hunting lodge and the interiors are warm and inviting, with a big stone fireplace, wood beams and comfortable furniture. There is a delightful terrace overlooking the lagoon, a perfect spot for a relaxing coffee or late afternoon aperitif. There is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court available for guests. The old town of Braga is about 30 km. to the south and is well worth a visit to its eleventh century cathedral.
