Location: Angra do Heroismo Island, Azores

Located within a 16th century Fortress and known as the Castelinho of São Sebastião, this Pousada is situated in the historic zone of the city of Angra , classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Accommodation: The Pousada has 28 Rooms and 1 Suite, which has a view over the sea and the Brasil hill. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning / heating, mini-bar, telephone, LCD TV, cable TV,hair drier, locker,internet. Note: One of the rooms has conditions for disabled people, and there are also non-smoking rooms.

Pousada History: This fortress, known by the name of Castelinho (little castle), was constructed with the demand of El-Rei D. Sebastiao, whose name was given to the castle, in a supercilious place, the Pipas Port. The construction of the castle started on 1555, having been given authority to the first alcayde Manuel de Corte Real on 1575. The castle is surrounded by high walls, parts of which are ruined in nowadays. It still preserves the most characteristic elements and, not a long time ago, used to fly the Portuguese flag.

Meetings & Conferences: The Sala dos Canhoes (cannons room) is a multifaceted room for meetings and banquets. It has natural light and view over the sea. It is equipped with audio and visual material and Internet access.
