The Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa opened its doors in November 2003 with a new concept of hospitality in the city. The Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa has 266 rooms and suites, a bar with different ambiences, and the Porto Novo restaurant, whose innovative concept of "Show Cooking" is rooted in Traditional Portuguese Cuisine. 8 Junior Suites can be converted into small meeting rooms, especially designed for those who are travelling on business or are working while travelling. Located on the top floor, they have balconies with panoramic views over the city and are reached by express lifts.

1 Presidential Suite
With Porto at your feet, this 240m2 suite is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a panoramic jacuzzi, dressing room and piano. It matches extravagance with luxury, turning your stay into an unforgettable experience.

Restaurants and bars

Porto Novo Restaurant: taking its inspiration from the innovative concept of “show cooking”, the Porto Novo Restaurant presents the best in Traditional Portuguese Cuisine. Through the mastery of the renowned Chef, Jeronimo Ferreira, you can enjoy the old flavors of wood stove cooking, fresh fish and seafood and international specialties, prepared in our tandoori and rotisserie. As well as the seasonal menus, guests may also choose from a daily selection of Chef's suggestions. The restaurant has a glazed wine cellar, which you can go into to appreciate and choose from a huge selection of Portuguese and international wines. Porto Novo has a capacity for 120 covers, which in summer is increased to 180, due to the terrace.

New Yorker Piano Bar: you will find first-rate atmosphere in the “New Yorker” bar, situated in the Hotel lobby. With its vast range of drinks and wines by the glass, as well as live music, it is the perfect place for a rendezvous, a business meeting or to relax while tasting our cocktails. In the garden, you can delight in the flavour of a Port wine at the same time as enjoying a magnificent view.

Club Lounge: situated on the top floor, the rooftop terrace has a panoramic view over the city. This space is reserved for guests staying on the "Club Level". In this exclusive place you can enjoy a buffet breakfast with personalised service, with the city at your feet. Relax or work all day long here, and at the end of the afternoon the General Manager will be delighted to offer you a cocktail.

Juice Bar: the philosophy of “The Spa” is based on nutritional awareness. In the Juice Bar you will find a range of healthy and balanced gastronomic choices. The “smoothies”, freshly squeezed juices and vegetarian sandwiches are a "must".

• Mercedes bridal limousine on the wedding day (up to a radius of 30km from the hotel and for up to 4 hours)

The Spa. In THE SPA the mind and body find their equilibrium

THE SPA provides the ideal escape: a range of treatments which combine the philosophies of European and Oriental traditions, a gym equipped with the most up-to-date technology, a Zen studio with classes in Swasthya Yoga, a relaxation area and the “heat experience”, mixed sauna and hammam (Turkish bath). An indoor swimming pool with hydrotherapy classes, the “vitality experience”, and a hairdressing salon can be found as well. The concept of THE SPA takes as its staring point the Seven Pillars of Starwood essential for well-being: Beauty, Harmony, Water, Vitality, Equilibrium, Nature and Nutrition. The result is a place of pure leisure and relaxation, where the tensions of everyday life are dispelled.

THE SPA has seven treatment rooms, one of which is a double suite specially prepared for treatments which take a holistic approach, caring for the face and body but without neglecting the inner well-being. You can take advantage of various facial and body treatments, such as massage with hot stones and aromatherapy, the Body Wrap and the anti-stress treatments. All the treatments are available for men as well as women, and the relaxing, jet lag, and hot stone massages are recommended. The heat experience zone comprises 3 saunas arranged by heat, aroma and humidity, as well as a relaxation area.

THE SPA uses the “ESPA” line of products based on organic plants known for their beneficial therapeutic powers in treatments.
