M'ar de Ar Muralhas is the new brand of the well known Hotel da Cartuxa opened in 1997 and seen since then as a reference hotel in Evora perfectly located inside the Historic Centre of Evora (Classified by UNESCO as World Heritage).

Together with this change, the new group has taken the opportunity to refurbish and renovate public areas and rooms, keeping all its charm, good taste and rustic atmosphere, which made part of this hotel a big success among its clients.

Restaurant: A-la-carte restaurant winner of several national and international awards with capacity for 100 seats, offering a Mediterranean gastronomy, innovated, but always respecting the Portuguese traditional cuisine. The restaurant has the signature of Chef Antonio Nobre and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, the restaurant is open for lunch from 12:30 to 15:00, and for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30. Weather permitting, terraces by the pool are the ideal place for all the meals.

The B'AR Muralhas, located near the lobby, has a spacious outer area, with a set of tables and chairs, as well stools at the bar and a cozy area by the fireplace. The Bar is already famous as a hang out place among locals, who stop by for a drink at the end of the day, enjoying a chat with friends before or after dinner.

Banquets and Meetings : M'AR de AR Muralhas is the ideal place for meetings and events, all four L-shaped adjacent rooms, with a capacity for 250 people, have natural light and are easily divided with removable screens. The rooms are named after the four cardinal points - AR D'Norte, AR D'Sul, AR D'Este and AR D'Oeste, according to its location around the hotel.
